We invite submission of abstracts of 250 words for individual papers (20 minutes) or suggestions for three-paper panels.
Participants are encouraged to consider topics including but not limited to:
- Transmedia storytelling for and by children
- Localisation and globalisation in the children’s mediascape
- Fluidity between screen to page formats in children’s storytelling
- Fandom and participatory culture
- Debates and contentions in children's screen content
- Innovative modes for producing stories to children, such as in digital media
- The role of digital games in children’s lives
The symposium will showcase creative research from a variety of disciplines while allowing industry practitioners to share their creative practice across a range of contemporary media content for
children.
